WHAT WE DO
rPET Flakes
The meticulous recycling process and quality checks from sourcing plastic waste to final stringent checks help us produce best-in-class washed, dried, Natural & Green rPET flakes that are free of caps and labels.
Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate is known as rPET. Later the flakes can be used to produce food-grade boxes, containers, packaging material, bottles, PoY (Partially Oriented Yarn), rPSF (Recycled Polyester Staple fiber), Paint Brush Bristles, PET Monofilament (Rope, Zippers), etc.
01.
Sorting
First of all the post-consumer PET bottles are sorted into different color fractions
- Transparent/Uncolored PET
- Blue and Green PET
- Mixed Fraction (All other)
02.
Cleaning & Washing
The sorted post-consumer PET is cleaned with water & steam and all moisture, metal, and other residues such as bottle caps, and labels are removed.
The PEt is washed with water and dried to ensure clean raw material.
03.
Crushing, Pressing, Grinding
The batched, cleaned batches are sent for crushing and pressing in small pieces. This makes the PET bottles ready for grinding.
Here the PET bottles are ready to cut into flakes of desired sizes. Finally, the PET bottles are segregated, cleaned, and cut into flakes.
04.
Packaging
The final rPET flakes are packed into big batches which are air sealed to avoid loss of rPET flakes. The sealed packaging also avoids moisture.
These rPET flakes later can be used to produce polyester fibers, polyester sheets, strapping, or back into PET bottles, PoY, etc.
